Disadvantages Of Inflatable Spas
Strictly speaking, inflatable spas
can be considered as portable spas.
This is basically because of the
fact that inflatable spas are not
built on solid ground. They are also
usually light in weight and may be
moved from one place to another.
Those are their basic advantages.
Yet, there are also disadvantages of
inflatable spas. While the benefits
may be many, the disadvantages of
inflatable spas are likewise
numerous, and so need not be taken
lightly.
Among the disadvantages of
inflatable spas, the most common one
is the fact that they are usually
round in shape apart from being
quite small in size. Because of
this, inflatable spas can heat up
quite fast because their space and
mass are limited. Conversely, when
the heater is turned off, heat is
lost just as quick in inflatable
spas, though this may be largely due
to the absence of an extra
insulation.
Also, primarily because of their
limited size, inflatable spas are
usually incapable of holding large
amounts of water. This will simply
be not ideal if you have plans of
holding a special hot tub party
where there will be lots of people,
most of them your good friends. This
is again one of the disadvantages of
inflatable spas.
Most inflatable spas are likewise
known to have very simple electrical
systems. When you are concerned
about you and your family's safety,
especially with regards to the
possibility of fires taking place,
then this is another one of the
disadvantages of inflatable spas.
With the regular spas, special
electrical wires are needed since
these have larger power
requirements, so basically, safety
is much more guaranteed with the
traditional hot tubs.
This is not a blow against portable
spas. After all, they do have their
own positive attributes. However,
the disadvantages of inflatable spas
can be quite serious in certain
cases. It is thus advisable to weigh
the disadvantages of inflatable spas
against their advantages before
finally deciding if inflatable spas
are the best hot tubs for your
homes.
